1931 Art Deco Style TheatreThe Brokaw Movie House has two movie screens outfitted with digital projectors, and top of the line surround sound. Each theatre is fitted with modern leather high back seating and tables for enjoying diverse concession items.
Patrons will enjoy menu items such as pizza, hot dogs, breadsticks, nachos, and more. The Brokaw has popcorn, candy, and fountain sodas for all to enjoy as well. The Brokaw will show a variety of movies, from the most recent blockbusters to cult classics. Check current movies and show times. |

Our History |
The Brokaw Theatre first opened its doors in August of 1931 owned by Joe Brokaw, manager of the Opera House across the town square. The first film ever shown on the big screen was the Smiling Lieutenant viewed by patrons for just 50¢ each. The Brokaw was designed by architect Mr. A.M. Strauss, known locally for his design of the Embassy Theatre.
